3 INDIVIDUAL WATER SEPARATION METHODOLOGIES
A “LETHAL’ COMBINATION ON A PERMANENT SUSTAINABLE BASIS!
Each of the water separation methodologies below are effective in removing free water. Utilising
filters in various combinations simply provides a highly effective, sustainable methodology for removing the number one cause of modern engine failure – Water.
| 1 | Static Centrifugal Water Coalescer (Permanent) | Methodology: Permanent internal structure (Static Centrifugal) designed in such a way that when Diesel passes through (due to water being heavier than fuel) free water subsides to Water Trap while separated diesel continues on through the system.

|||
| 2 | Surface Separation Coalescer (Of a Permanent Nature) | Methodology: Replaceable Cartridge. Medium designed for Free Water to separate on its surface. A high percentage of suspended water will also be removed.
|
|||
| 3 | Depth Synthetic Coalescer | Methodology: Replaceable Cartridge, multi-layered depth media coalesces on the surface and inside the multimedia. However, the above-mentioned 2 water filters are proving more popular.

| WATER TRAP (Visual Inspection) |

Three individual water separation methodologies namely static centrifugal, surface separation and depth synthetic.
Features & Benefits:
- After much research and vigorous testing, the methodologies inherent to our product range were developed as an effective and innovative filtration technology specifically aimed at Water Separation.
- Individually, these units are highly effective and when used in combination with each other they form a lethal, modular approach to setting a new industry standard in removing water from bulk tank installations.
- These units are cost effective and efficient in water separation & drainage on a sustainable level.
- Tests have revealed that the iAquaMaxTM will remove free water and is highly effective in removing water in suspension.
- Units are easy to install, maintenance is low and maintenance intervals are extended.
- When compared to standard products in the industry, these units will not collapse in water, will maintain their water separation capabilities, allow for continuous visual monitoring and are highly effective.
The “silent killer” – Water has inferior lubrication properties, pressure, corrosion, fuel oxidation, viscosity and bacterial & fung etc.
Utilizes the coalesce principle – a reliable, proven and effective method. Highly effective water separation without the cost of expensive cartridges that collapse with a high volume of water concentrate and whose efficiency is compromised by particle contamination.
- Highly effective separation up to 300 liters per minute
- Ideal” policeman ” to combat the practice of diluting fuel with water during delivery to main tanks and to indicate dilution on equipment – an African practice of note.
- Ideal for Africa as the separator can consistently handle up to 5% of water per volume. Most cartridge filters simply collapse or saturate at these water volumes. Flow volume limited to 150 litres per minute
- No costly cartridge that has water absorption limitations
- Automatically “dumps” water with iCerMax™ technology into a separate container and no operator intervention is required
- Long life due to robust construction
- Does not possess water absorbing media which is sensitive to flow rate and surges
- Particle contamination negatively effects the water retention ability of cartridges (wax & coalesce fibre media)
While Diesel is in the filtration circulation process – under pressure free water agglomerates/ collects (comes together) into even larger droplets as they flow over the filter element’s media, eventually becoming large enough to be gravitationally drained away.
“Think of rain droplets that collect on your vehicles’ windscreen. When they ‘run’ and collect one another they get heavier and due to gravity, they accumulate and flow off the surface
